Lane jumpers anonymous

I wonder if the proposed increase to bikers on the ACC charges would be as high if they didn't drive between the lanes at peak times? There is a certain element, I'm not saying who, that are committed lane changers and the bikers are putting themselves at risk, tempting fate, taking on lane jumpers anonymous.

Many of us have spent years analysing traffic patterns to know where and when to change lanes to ensure that we have the quickest trip available. We do this to ensure that we minimise the damage to the environment by not burning as much fossil fuel as those that sit cast in their cars waiting for their lane to move.

We do this in the face of the traffic engineers that isist on making light changes as inefficient as possible, lane markings as obscure as possible to lengthen the commuters trip. I see them as environmental terrorists prolonging the time that petrol powered vehicles spend on the road spewing emissions into the atmosphere!

I suggest that if bikers seriously want to lower their risk profile then staying in their own lanes would be wise and secondly if we want to stop the lane jumpers then the traffic engineers should design traffic wfriendly roads!
